Our Plant & Strategic Plan

We intend to design, construct, own and operate a biodiesel and glycerine production facility.   The facility will be able to produce biodiesel fuel from any vegetable oil or animal fat.  It will also be able to reprocess by distillation "off-spec" (unmarketable) biodiesel produced by another plant and glycerine that contains methanol or excessive amounts of water.  The plant will also be able to produce a biodiesel that has improved cold flow characteristics.

The cost of constructing such a plant is expected to be approximately $1 million.  We expect these costs to include digging, pouring foundations, material and labor to construct the biodiesel plant, fatty acids, methanol and biodiesel storage and handling facilities and offices.  We will also be purchasing and installing biodiesel production equipment, such as pumps and processing equipment, storage tanks, and a methanol flash column.  We will pay these costs by making monthly progress payments based upon the work completed and invoiced to us.

Initially we will build the $1 million production and reprocessing facility ("Flex Facility")described above.  An advantage to the production and reprocessing facility is that it is very flexible and has multiple uses and can switch from one process to another as market conditions change.  Another advantage of the processing facility is that it will produce very high quality biodiesel that may command a premium price in the biodiesel market.

Once the Flex Facility has reached full production we will raise an additional $5 million in equity capital, secure an offtake agreement that will support a suitable financing package, begin the engineering for a 10 MMGY biodiesel plant utilizing pre-fabricated skid mounted plants.  There are several vendors who offer such skid plants.  Our preferred skid plant vendor builds skid plants that will produce 10 MMGY.  The cost of such a skid plant is approximately $3.4 million.  The minimum amount of this offering plus proceeds from SBA loans and loans from the State of Ohio is expected to be sufficient to fund this staged plant scenario.  On the first yearly anniversary of the skid plant's startup we will commence the engineering for a 60 MMGY standalone facility.
